Collection: Water Marbled Charmeuse Silk

Charmeuse is a thicker silk, 19.5mm.  It is much less transparent than the thinner 8mm habotai silk.  Works well as a scarf, table runner and tapestry.  Our European friends love the charmeuse silk as an ascot.

The charmeuse collection has two basic types of design.  Sometimes we dye the silk before marbling.  We do two different types of silk dyeing.  The hot water dyeing produces a uniform color.  The low immersion dyeing produces a multi colored silk.  

The second design style is over marbling with one design over another.  We also marble a different design on each side which produces two scarves in one.
